Local Porters ‘super-grom’, George Pengelley added the coveted North Face NZ Freeski Open Big Mountain Open title to his swagger of wins this season at The Remarkables ski area over the weekend.
Having received more than 60cm of fresh snow in the lead up to the event, skiers battled snow and limited visibility. A high level of skiing, and large airs combined with big crashes, it was George who came out on top in the end.
