Festival Weekend at Porters

This weekend we're over-run by festvals - one each day! On Saturday, the annual Dynastar CHILL Gromfest takes place. All groms aged 6 to 15 years are invited to Porters to take part in dual slalom downhill racing, as well as mini freestyle jam. Great prizes are up for grabs from Dynastar and CHILL, and it's a fun event for the whole family to enjoy. Registration with CHILL at the Porters ticket office on Saturday morning.

On Sunday, Porters embraces it's German and Austrian heritage in bringing you the second annual Porters Oktoberfest. A spring time event, the day embraces the cultures of these countries and mixes in a fun time on the slopes for the whole family. Delicious German sausage, authentic potatoe salad, sauerkraut, and much more will keep you charging through the afternoon. You can purchase your delicious lunch inclusive of a Porters Oktoberfest beer mug (yours to keep) with Becks beer from the cafe on the day for just $20! (or $10 without the beer and mug). Oktoberfest t-shirts are also available from the ticket office.


DRESS-UP IS ESSENTIAL! Break out your authentic German wares for the day and you're in the draw to win a 2010 Porters Season pass! We'll be giving away a pass each to the best dressed male and female on the day, plus there'll be a best dressed family division! So get the kid's looking good, hop in the car and come on up for an awesome spring day on the hill at Porters this Sunday.
