We hope that going  ‘back to school’ hasn’t been too tough for you after a relaxing holiday break.
 
There has been fantastic skiing on offer this week with cold temperatures continuing. The weather is looking perfect this weekend, so why don’t you finish your week off on a high, and come on up for some fun on the snow.

Mountain Update

We have had awesome snow conditions this week, and the lower mountain is skiing very well indeed. Check out the video update via the link above.
 
Currently we have limited terrain on offer, with the beginner carpet, intermediate platter, and T-1 up to tower 7 running. Conditions are perfect for those new to snow-sports, or for those looking for some cruisy runs perfecting your skills.  Half-day lift rates apply until all lifts open.

 

Sunday Training Programmes

It’s the start of the weekly Sunday training programmes this weekend for the Porters Training Academy participants. If you’re signed up, meet this Sunday 27th July at the blue snow-sports school meeting flag between T-1 drive and the platter lift. Dan will be there marshaling the troops and getting everyone into the right groups, if you have any queries or would like to complete a late registration, please email Dan on snowschool@skiporters.co.nz.

Women’s Workshop Weekend

 
Calling all intermediate or advanced female skiers and riders - our annual Women’s Workshop Weekend is coming up on the 16/17 August. The weekend offers a progressive, enjoyable and diverse training experience packed full of fun. Four hours of coaching each day, wind-down yoga session, intro to snow safety and back-country travel, with meals and accommodation (Saturday night) included.
