World Cup, Holidays + Hashtags

11/07/2014 12:00pm

The school holidays are with us. It has been great to see so many smiley young faces enjoying their time on the slopes. We have fantastic snow cover across the main runs on the lower mountain, courtesy of our new state-of-the-art snowmaking system. It’s an ideal opportunity for beginner and intermediate riders and skiers to make the most of our great learning conditions.

Learner lift rates apply for use of the Beginner carpet, Intermediate platter, and T-bar 1 up to tower 7. That’s just $45 for an all day adult ticket and just $25 for a Youth - incredible value! Chains are currently not required on our access road, so just roll on up and you’re ready for the fun.

World Cup Fever at Porters

world cup

Like us, many of you will be enjoying the excitement of the final stages of the Football World Cup this week. With our General Manager, Uli Dinsenbacher and several other staff hailing from Germany, we’re all right behind the Germans as they take on Argentina in the final at 7am on Monday 14th July.

To celebrate the final, we will be streaming the match live on the big screen at Porters Café, with a special ‘World Cup’ breakfast offer - bacon and eggs, hash-brown, tomatoes and a complimentary tea or coffee for just $15! The match kicks off at 7am, so make sure you’re up early, and, we will see you up here!
