What's new at Porters in 2014?

If, like us, you are hooked on the Sochi Games, you will be itching to get back on the snow…. Here is a taste of things to come at Porters.

It is all go up at Porters Ski Area, as we work through our summer maintenance and improvement programme. Porters are installing an automated SMI snowmaking system this summer. This new system is faster and more efficient than the old one, giving us greater coverage on the lower mountain. Alongside the system installation, we are upgrading the associated snowmaking pump to provide us with increased flow capacity.  Getting plenty of snow on the ground early is a crucial part of our operation, and Porters customers can expect an even better snow product for winter 2014.
