Equipment Rentals 2010
We’ve got loads of top quality gear all ready to go, and it’s all here on the mountain! We have a wide range of late model ski and board equipment that will assist you in development your skills and progressing to the next level.
Our rental rates are outlined below. If you’re unsure of any rates, please talk to our friendly ticket office staff, who will be happy to assist you.
We also have a number of lockers available for storage of your gear during the day. Small lockers can be hired for $4 per day, larger lockers $7 per day. Please inquire at the ticket office.
Seasonal Rentals
Seasonal rentals are also available - a great way to book in some premium ski gear for the winter without the price tag! If you'll be skiing with us a fair bit this year, it could be for you. Seasonal rentals can be purchased along with your season pass at the Porters E-shop.
Please note: The age definitions stipulated above represent the relevant pass-holders age at the start of the 2010 winter season (25th June 2010). Porters reserve the right to ask for proof of age and family association (family season pass) in order to confirm a customers age and/or family eligibility.
Other Gear Rentals
Clothing Hire is $15 for each jacket or pants, plus helmet hire is available. All sizes are available. We also sell goggles, hats & gloves.
Plus we’ve got toboggans for hire for $10. (Tobogganing is limited to one track from the Platter lift down to the second car park, and isn’t suitable for small children. Using this track is entirely at your own risk, and is not always covered in snow. No tobogganing is allowed on any runs of the ski area.)

| Student | 18+ years enrolled full time with a New Zealand or Australian tertiary institution or secondary school. To be considered full time you must attend such institution a minimum of 32 weeks in a calendar year. Student ID and proof of full time status in the form of a letter from the institution to be presented at the time of pass collection. ID card must be in English and include a valid expiry date. ISIC cards not accepted. |
