Intermediate & Advanced

Big Mama – who is she? Just our world famous ski run, one of the longest single lift accessed ski slopes in the Southern Hemisphere, and it’s sure to get any advanced skiers mouth drooling and legs burning! On the opposite side of the basin, and a few degrees steeper again, Bluff Face also provides some epic advanced terrain. We’ve got it all here, from first timer to seasoned pro, come up and give it a try.

Regardless of your ability, a few pointers from our expert instructors can never go astray. You can get a private lesson for $95 an hour anytime during the day. Early (9.00am) and late (3.00pm) private lessons are a real bargain. You only pay $80 to have your own instructor for an hour. You can also book a half or full day private lesson for your family group, see the Snow Sports School page for more info.

Once you’ve skied out the powder on the steep slopes, the Porters Community Park is a dedicated terrain park area designed for beginner and intermediate terrain park users. With a dedicated area on T-1, and additional part-time park zones in McNulty’s Basin and T-3, there’s always something to continue to challenge you at Porters. For more, head over to the Community Park and check it out…
