- Porters Snow Sports Skills Clinics INFO
- Beginner's Group lessons start at 10.30am and 1.30pm and run for 2 hours (group lessons containing less than four participants run for only one hour)
- Private Lessons run for 1 hour.
- Rental Equipment includes (ski) Skis, Ski Boots and Poles or (snowboard) Snowboard and Snowboard Boots.
- Learn to Ski/Ride packages include rental ski or snowboard equipment.
- Performance Equipment Rental includes A pair of Performance Skis, Ski Boots and Poles.
- Upgrade to include the both lessons, morning and afternoon, for just $20 more
- No booking is required for these packages and group lessons. Please ensure you are at the ski area approximately 1 hour before your desired lesson time. Places are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
FIRST TIME Packages
At Porters we have packages for people who want to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time. More details of the First Time packages and tips for your first day in the mountains.
2018 Family Saver Rates
We love to see the whole family enjoying time on the snow at Porters, and so if you bring your family skiing to Porters, we will give you 15% off packages, day passes, rentals and group lessons. This applies when at least two members of the same immediate family (must include one child and either a parent or grandparent) buy at least two full price lift passes, rentals, group lessons or packages. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Porters Kids Camp
We realise your little ones need specialised care, attention and instruction when learning to ski. Let us take care of teaching them their first turns. Experience shows that they will improve far more quickly from our instructors who are well trained and positioned to teach them. Our Kids Camp runs every Sunday and each day in the July school holidays for young skiers aged 4 to 6 years. Sessions run from 10.30am to 12.30pm, giving you parents enough time for a good morning's skiing all over the mountain!
